PHP Developer (Laravel and CodeIgniter) (Female)

Job Requirements

We are seeking a skilled and experienced PHP Developer proficient in both Laravel and CodeIgniter frameworks to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in web application development, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest technologies. As a PHP Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-performance web applications.

Key Responsibilities

Web Application Development

  • Develop, test, and deploy high-quality web applications using PHP, Laravel, and CodeIgniter frameworks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Ensure the responsiveness and performance of applications across various devices.

Code Optimization and Maintenance

  • Identify and fix bugs, performance bottlenecks, and other issues in existing applications.
  • Conduct regular code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure adherence to coding standards.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

Database Design and Management

  • Design and implement database structures using MySQL or other relational databases.
  • Perform database migrations, optimizations, and ensure data integrity.

API Development

  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless integration with other systems.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements using server-side logic.

Security and Compliance

  • Implement security best practices to safeguard applications against vulnerabilities.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices related to web application security.

Documentation

  • Create and maintain technical documentation for code, APIs, and processes.
  • Collaborate with the team to document system architecture and workflows.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience as a PHP Developer with expertise in both Laravel and CodeIgniter frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and MVC design patterns.
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery..
  • Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
  • Solid understanding of database design, optimization, and normalization.
  • Knowledge of web services and RESTful APIs.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred

  • Experience with back-end frameworks
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
